Artificial intelligence to increase rail track safety

The HARMONY project, run by Mission Embedded, Frequentis, and the Institute of Computer Technology at the Vienna University of Technology and funded by FFG, will investigate the use of an innovative track monitoring system that uses sensors and AI to detect anomalies on the track infrastructure.

Naviair, the Danish Air Navigation Service Provider, selected the integrated tower and approach solution from FREQUENTIS DFS AEROSENSE in early 2020 to manage increasing airspace demand and support the workload of Air Traffic Control Operators and has now successfully completed proof of concept testing.
