Frequentis and Dutch drone enterprise solutions innovator AirHub have announced a strategic partnership aimed at making Uncrewed Traffic Management (UTM) more accessible and user-friendly for drone operators across Europe and beyond. This collaboration focuses on simplifying UTM services, ensuring seamless and easy-to-use solutions for public safety, critical infrastructure, and commercial applications, including police and fire departments, many of which are already AirHub clients. 

The partnership combines AirHub’s advanced mission management platform with Frequentis’ UTM technology, designed for seamless data exchange and real-time situational awareness. This integration empowers drone operators to efficiently plan, execute, and manage missions in compliance with regulatory requirements while benefiting from real-time geospatial data, digital flight approvals, and live telemetry monitoring—all from a single intuitive interface.

Frequentis and Oro Navigacija have been awarded the ATM Award for Innovation to Enable Sustainable Future Skies for the delivery and implementation of an Uncrewed Traffic Management (UTM) system designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of Lithuania’s low-level airspace. 

Oro Navigacija, Lithuania’s certified air navigation service provider (ANSP), implemented the solution with Frequentis to support safe drone operations while ensuring the continued safety of crewed aviation. The system forms part of Lithuania’s wider approach to managing increasing drone traffic and aligns with European regulatory standards.

Frequentis is presenting its Unified Aeronautical Communications solution to customers for the first time at Airspace World 2025 in Lisbon. The solution marks a significant milestone in turning the company’s OneATM vision into reality: enabling air traffic controllers to access both voice and automation functions through a unified interface. 

The concept integrates the X10 voice communication system with the SimCWP automation tool from Frequentis Orthogon, running on the ODS Open Platform, which enables the systems to operate in sync, so information flows smoothly between them. This collaboration between the voice and automation teams demonstrates the technical and operational value of system integration.

• Frequentis and Dimetor present solution for detecting satellite navigation interference at Airspace World 2025
• NAVSentry solution alerts pilots and air traffic controllers to signal disruptions before and during flights
• The partnership strengthens aviation safety by addressing the growing risk of navigation system attacks 

Frequentis is responding to the urgency of protecting satellite navigation from interference to ensure safe aviation by presenting an innovative solution for automated live monitoring and detection of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) spoofing and jamming by Frequentis’ partner company Dimetor, based in Austria.

Aviation safety relies heavily on GNSS, which are increasingly targeted by cyber-attacks. Because GNSS signals are unencrypted, they are vulnerable to jamming and spoofing – threats that can cause serious disruptions to air traffic. In early 2025, the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and other global bodies urged states to better protect this critical radio-frequency band. In response, Frequentis is presenting Dimetor’s patented NAVSentry at Airspace World. The software uses mobile network data to detect GNSS interference in real time, providing detailed alerts to air traffic systems to help ensure safer operations.

• Frequentis will deliver a new communication solution for all Norwegian fire emergency call centres
• The new system will handle calls, radio, video, and digital messages, with flexibility to support future needs 

The national collaboration of Norway’s fire emergency call centres (NKS110) has awarded Frequentis a contract to deliver a new, future-ready communication platform for all 110 centres. The system will replace the current Integrated Command and Control Solution (ICCS) by the end of 2026 and will support emergency call handling, alerting, coordination, and collaboration. 

Designed to adapt to evolving needs, the solution will enable operators to manage multiple types of inquiries – whether via phone, radio, video, or digital channels – while preparing the fire service for the transition to Norway’s next-generation emergency network.
