US Navy selects FREQUENTIS voice communication system for MQ-25 unmanned air system

The U.S. Navy awarded Frequentis a contract to provide its IP-based voice communications system for the Unmanned Carrier Aviation Mission Control System (UMCS) MD-5 control station, in support of the MQ-25 program. The MQ-25A Stingray will be the first operational, carrier-based unmanned aircraft and will provide an aerial refueling capability to the carrier air wing (CVW), extending global reach and operational capabilities.
