“Pfand mit Herz” (Deposit with a Heart) is a social and environmental initiative in Austria that uses the new deposit system on marked bottles and cans to support people in need.

Frequentis employees came up with the idea: instead of returning deposit bottles and cans themselves, they could be placed in a collection box and donated.

The idea was realised in collaboration with the Austrian Workers' Samaritan Federation Floridsdorf-Donaustadt. Since September 2025, employees at the company's headquarters in Vienna may donate their empty deposit bottles and cans to a good cause. The Samaritan Federation uses the donations to support social markets where people affected by poverty can buy food and goods at greatly reduced prices. In addition, gifts and celebrations for children at Easter and Christmas are financed.
