The project demonstrates how digital aviation can support regional connectivity in one of the world’s most challenging operating environments. Working alongside Greenland Airports and project partners, Frequentis helped establish modern air traffic management capability for South Greenland’s new aviation hub, overcoming significant logistical and environmental constraints to support long-term accessibility and regional development.

Behind the technical implementation was a small, highly committed team working in Arctic conditions where access was often dependent on helicopters, boats, and rapidly changing weather windows. Despite travel disruption, limited site access, and demanding environmental conditions, teams from Greenland Airports, Frequentis, and partners worked closely to maintain progress, demonstrating the collaboration, adaptability, and commitment required to deliver critical aviation capability in a remote environment.
