Airspace World 2026

Leveraging the power of integration

Frequentis successfully demonstrated how the OneATM strategy connects communications, automation, information and network infrastructure at Airspace World 2026. The showcases combined operational implementations with forward-looking concepts: the Service Delivery Model with DFS, digital flight information and tactical traffic optimisation, voice-driven automation, integrated tower solutions, ATM-grade networks and the integration of drone traffic with conventional ATM.

The event also delivered important milestones beyond the stand, including an agreement with Brazil’s DECEA, a partnership with ICAI and two distinctions in the Seamless Skies Awards.

Key benefits

  • Operational Service Delivery Model showcase
  • Digital FF-ICE R1 data exchange
  • Strong voice integration with ATM automation
  • Integrated tower deployment concepts
  • Resilient global network implementations
  • ATM and drone traffic integration
  • Two Seamless Skies awards

Turning the OneATM strategy into connected operational solutions

The Frequentis demonstrations were structured around the OneATM focus areas rather than isolated products. Each showcase explained how existing systems and technologies can be combined to support specific operational outcomes, while retaining the resilience and safety required in air traffic management.

The Service Delivery Model showcase featured the first operational implementation with DFS, illustrating the separation of ATM services, platform capabilities and infrastructure. Trajectory-Based Operations connected the creation and exchange of FF-ICE R1 digital flight information with integrated Arrival and Departure Management for the tactical phase. Unified Aeronautical Communications demonstrated interaction with the automation system through voice, bringing communication and automation into one operational environment.

The Integrated Tower showcase combined compact, digital and automated tower configurations. ATM-Grade Networks highlighted resilient implementations from different regions, including the announced extension of the Brazilian DECEA network into the CINDACTA IV Amazon region. Accelerated Drone Management demonstrated the exchange of information between UTM and ATM automation, supporting a shared operational picture for crewed and uncrewed traffic.

A real implementation with DFS demonstrated how ATM applications can be delivered as decoupled services across defined platform and infrastructure layers. The showcase moved the Service Delivery Model from architectural concept to an operational programme.

The showcase combined the creation and exchange of FF-ICE R1 digital flight information with integrated Arrival and Departure Management, connecting strategic trajectory data with tactical traffic optimisation.

Visitors experienced interaction with the automation system using voice. The demonstration showed how communication, automation, recording and speech recognition can be brought together within one operational environment.

Three configurations illustrated the breadth of tower operations: compact, digital and automated. The integrated presentation showed how communication, flight data, surveillance and visualisation can be combined for different airport environments.

Global implementation examples demonstrated resilient transport of voice, surveillance and operational data. The announced CINDACTA IV expansion highlighted how ATM-grade connectivity supports operations in the demanding Amazon region.

The demonstration connected drone traffic management with ATM automation, making information on crewed and uncrewed operations available within a shared operational context.
