Automatic geo-location

FlagMii EML determines the location of mobile devices so that reported incidents can be positioned on a map. The operator simply sends an SMS to the caller, who clicks on the embedded link to transmit their location and open a secure digital channel back to the control room. This connection supports chat, live video, simultaneous text translation and geo-location – helping emergency services understand the situation immediately. 
 

Live video

FlagMii EML empowers callers to share live video from any camera on their device, enabling operators in control rooms to make direct observations of the incident. Third-party experts can be added to video calls – for example, to enable a medical doctor to provide advice on treating an injured person.
 

Simultaneous translation

FlagMii EML includes automatic language recognition and translation of text messages, making it easier for public safety organisations to extend their services to all citizens and foreign visitors. These capabilities reduce the risk of dangerous miscommunication during emergency scenarios.
 

Non-spoken communication 

With support for multimedia chat, pictograms and interactive questionnaires, FlagMii EML empowers control room operators to communicate silently with people who are under threat or otherwise unable to speak. This feature also supports hearing-impaired people.
