Emergency and medical services
Simplifying EMS operations from call to care
Emergency medical services (EMS) need reliable, intuitive systems to coordinate routine patient transport and life-saving emergency response. Frequentis integrates command and control, dispatch, multimedia communications, and GPS tracking, helping control rooms deploy the right resources quickly. EMS provide routine patient transportation, emergency transfers to hospitals, and out-of-hospital acute medical and paramedical care. With lives at stake, control rooms need real-time visibility of personnel, vehicles, and equipment, together with clear communication across frontline teams, partner agencies, and other emergency services.
New technologies and multimedia emergency communications provide richer information but also increase operational complexity. As the number of systems and data sources grows, control room and frontline personnel face a greater risk of information overload, errors, and stress. When digital tools operate in isolation, personnel must manually combine information and workflows across different systems. Frequentis reduces this cognitive burden through an integrated, open, and flexible approach to incident management, communication, and dispatch.
A single interface brings together core EMS functions and integrates best-of-breed Frequentis and third-party applications. One-click unit calls simplify communication across different radio and telephony devices, while integrated GPS tracking and real-time information support informed decision-making throughout the response chain.
By helping control rooms locate and dispatch the closest, most appropriate resources, Frequentis enables faster coordination, more efficient operations, and an effective response when every second counts.
