Estonia leads Europe's transition to digital NOTAM services with FREQUENTIS
- Estonian Air Navigation Services (EANS) has gone live with Digital NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) services using the Frequentis CADAS product suite
- One of the first operational digital NOTAM implementations in Europe
- Milestone supports the transition to fully digital, interoperable aeronautical information management (AIM)
This milestone reflects the growing momentum of digital AIM across Europe and the industry's transition from traditional text-based information handling to a fully digital, integrated aeronautical data environment. By enabling structured, machine-readable aeronautical information, Digital NOTAM services improve safety, operational efficiency, and the seamless exchange of information across the aviation ecosystem.
"Seeing EANS become one of the first air navigation service providers in Europe to bring Digital NOTAM services into operational use is an important milestone in the digital transformation of aviation," says Josef Kutschi, Managing Director of Frequentis Comsoft. "We are proud to support EANS in taking a leading role in the digital transformation of AIM across Europe and helping to build the interoperable information services that will shape the future of ATM."
