• Estonian Air Navigation Services (EANS) has gone live with Digital NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) services using the Frequentis CADAS product suite
• One of the first operational digital NOTAM implementations in Europe
• Milestone supports the transition to fully digital, interoperable aeronautical information management (AIM)

This milestone reflects the growing momentum of digital AIM across Europe and the industry's transition from traditional text-based information handling to a fully digital, integrated aeronautical data environment. By enabling structured, machine-readable aeronautical information, Digital NOTAM services improve safety, operational efficiency, and the seamless exchange of information across the aviation ecosystem.

• 15,000th Air‑to‑Ground Protocol Converter (APC) produced for the FAA’s Brand-New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS)
• Milestone supports the world’s largest aviation communications modernization program, spanning thousands of network endpoints across the U.S. National Airspace System
• The APC gateways enable large‑scale TDM‑to‑VoIP conversion across the FAA’s BNATCS program

In the next phase of the program, Frequentis will begin delivering its latest voice communication system, the Frequentis X10 VoICE. The company is currently building the first 63 X10 systems, with deliveries scheduled to be completed in early 2027.

 “Frequentis is proud to support the DOT’s BNATCS program,” said Dieter Eier, President of Frequentis USA. “Our team moved mountains to accelerate delivery of the 15,000 APC systems, from the original eight‑year rollout plan to just 12 months, helping the FAA modernize air traffic control communications at unprecedented speed.”

In the first half of 2026, numerous milestones with an impact on revenue and profit were achieved, which had originally been planned for the second half of the year. This resulted in a corresponding shift in revenue and earnings into the first half of 2026.

Thanks to this positive performance, revenue for the first half of 2026 is expected to rise to around 
EUR 340 million, according to preliminary figures (first half of 2025: EUR 236.8 million). EBIT is expected to be in positive territory at around EUR 15 million in the first half of 2026 (first half of 2025: EUR -4.3 million).

Order intake is expected to rise to around EUR 360 million (first half of 2025: EUR 309.0 million).

• ATM automation system now operational, ensuring seamless air traffic control continuity across Denmark’s area control centre (ACC) and major airports

The Danish air navigation service provider Naviair has successfully deployed and put into live operation its backup air traffic management (ATM) system, based on Frequentis’ ATM automation solution PRISMA. 

“The transition to live operations marks a major milestone for both teams,” says Josef Kutschi, Managing Director at Frequentis Comsoft. “This project demonstrates how a modern and flexible high-capacity backup system can deliver lasting value. Frequentis was named runner-up in the Safety, Security & Resilience category of the Seamless Skies Awards. The project delivered a pioneering low‑altitude air picture and military uncrewed traffic management (UTM) capability to the German Armed Forces. The award recognises a breakthrough in how defence organisations can safely manage rapidly growing UAS (uncrewed aerial systems) activity while maintaining operational control in complex, dynamic airspace environments.
