ANOTHER ECOVADIS BRONZE MEDAL FOR FREQUENTIS

Frequentis has once again been awarded the Bronze Medal by EcoVadis in 2025. This places Frequentis among the top 35% of companies assessed worldwide by EcoVadis – a strong signal of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.

EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading providers of sustainability ratings, evaluating over 150,000 companies across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

This recognition confirms that sustainability at Frequentis is not just a buzzword, but a fundamental part of our corporate identity. The ESG strategy of the Frequentis Group is broad in scope and is reflected in the corporate purpose – “For a safer world” – as well as in the corporate culture, values, and goals.

With this holistic approach, Frequentis aims to generate long-term positive impact for both the environment and society – while continuing to operate successfully as a business.

INITIAL CERTIFICATION ISO 50001 ENERGY MANAGEMENT

A significant step towards sustainable corporate management: Frequentis' company headquarters in Innovationsstrasse has been successfully certified in accordance with ISO 50001.

ISO 50001 is an internationally recognised standard for energy management systems. It was developed by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and offers companies a systematic approach to continuously improve their energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and thus save costs and reduce environmental impact.

At Frequentis, it confirms the consistent commitment to the responsible and resource-conserving use of energy at the company headquarters.

It also emphasises the strategic efforts to systematically improve energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and thus actively contribute to climate protection.

AWARD FOR SUPPLIERS 2024

As a company operating in the safety-critical area, Frequentis also relies on reliable partners and long-term business relationships on the supplier side. A stable basis in purchasing is essential for the professional handling of projects.

When selecting suppliers, we therefore pay attention to criteria such as quality, price, reliability and service as well as ethics, compliance with labor standards and environmental protection in accordance with the the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Code for Suppliers and Subcontractors.

At the beginning of each year, the top 3 suppliers are honoured by the Frequentis Executive Board for their performance in the previous year. For 2024, these were KSG Austria, RedHat Austria and Certicon a.s.

In addition, a “Sustainability Award” was presented for outstanding activities in the areas of environment, social affairs, employee programs, diversity and community support. This time, the trophy went to Certicon a.s., primarily for its achievements in the “People” area. With the “CertiCon Social Responsibility” programme, Certicon for example contributes to public education in the field of digital skills, by supporting ECDL exams (European Computer Driving License).
