Ideas for shared success

Frequentis fosters an open culture where ideas and suggestions from everyone are recognised and appreciated. A continuous improvement process and an active suggestion system are essential components for effective quality management.

Since 2014, the platform "FREQUENTIS IDEAS" has been operational on the Frequentis intranet: Frequentis employees are encouraged to proactively generate improvement ideas, i.e., ideas that could enhance quality or profitability for the company in the broadest sense, or that could enable more efficient or meaningful use of existing resources.

Once a year, employees who have contributed their ideas on topics such as sustainability and the environment, easing daily work life, or suggestions for process improvements and technical inputs over the past year are invited to an IDEAS breakfast with the board.

At the event in early May, COO Monika Haselbacher and CFO Peter Skerlan thanked the 56 submitters in 2024.

FREQUENTIS USA CELEBRATES “EARTH DAY”

Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on 22 April to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was first held in 1970 and has since grown into a global movement involving over 1 billion people in more than 193 countries.

The day is marked by various activities such as tree planting, clean-up campaigns, educational programs, and advocacy for policies that protect the environment.

Also the “Engagement Committee” of Frequentis USA joined in this ambition. They held a small event where employees painted flowerpots and planted seeds in the soil. Employees took these pots home to take care of the sprouting plants.

This great initiative underlines the Frequentis’ commitment not only for a safer, but also for a greener world.

VIENNA “TÖCHTERTAG” AT FREQUENTIS

For more than 20 years, the Vienna “Töchtertag” (Daughters' Day) has been an important event for the career guidance of girls and young women: It offers them the opportunity to broaden their horizons in terms of career choices and get to know professions in the fields of technology, digitalisation, natural sciences and skilled trades. They gain an insight into professional practice, experience everyday working life at first hand and can try out their skills straight away.

This year, on Thursday 24 April, Frequentis was also dedicated to daughters, sisters, nieces...

Around 30 girls with a passion for technology were able to immerse themselves in the company for a day: First they were given a project assignment by Frequentis CTO Karl Wannenmacher, then they drew up a project plan together, coded and configured systems themselves on their laptops, took a look at the integration hall and finally spoke directly with Frequentis COO Monika Haselbacher about their many impressions. This is how a daughter's day at Frequentis works!

We are already looking forward to Daughters' Day 2026!

CONSOLIDATED NON-FINANCIAL STATEMENT 2024

The Frequentis Annual Report 2024 published on 8 April 2024 further professionalises Frequentis AG's sustainability reporting. As an integral part of the Frequentis Group Management Report, it provides an overview of the Group-wide sustainability initiatives and activities in the 2024 financial year, focusing on the ESRS that were defined as material for Frequentis as part of the materiality assessment carried out at the end of 2023, supplemented by the Frequentis-specific topic of ‘Safety & Security’. The corresponding concepts, actions, and measures, as well as key figures for these seven topics can be found in the non-financial statement.
