Egypt boosts critical airspace communication with FREQUENTIS
- Frequentis’ fastest end-to-end voice over IP (VoIP) communication system (VCS) will be installed at several important air traffic management facilities
- VoIP and fully redundant VCS to seamlessly integrate with upcoming digital radio connections
National Air Navigation Services Company (NANSC) of Egypt will implement Frequentis’ VCS to enhance the country’s aviation infrastructure. Deployment will include the Cairo Air Navigation Center (CANC), Cairo tower, back up tower and approach system, and the emergency centre at Katamaya, New Cairo. Orascom Services, headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, will act as systems integrator.
