The iCWP is the operational heart of TowerX, a single, adaptive interface that brings flight data, surveillance, video-based visualisation, routing, guidance, safety nets, MET/ATIS and support information together in one harmonised HMI. Designed in collaboration with controllers and based on a dedicated UX style guide, the iCWP offers intuitive interaction, flexible layout options, and operational guidance that adapts to both small regional towers and large hub environments.

TowerX supports regulators and operators by embedding compliance into the product from the start. With an evergreen lifecycle model, TowerX receives regular updates that keep systems secure, current, and aligned with new standards, while reducing certification effort. To make frequent updates feasible, TowerX provides automated testing capabilities through the Frequentis CATS platform, enabling fast, efficient, and repeatable regression tests. Customers can even run CATS on-site to validate new releases and patches, significantly reducing upgrade overhead.

TowerX is powered by MosaiX, the Frequentis service-oriented digital platform that provides a unified and secure foundation for all modules. Through MosaiX, technical teams can perform monitoring, configuration, updates, logging, and identity management from a single interface. The platform includes common services such as authentication, role management, logging, and health monitoring, all aligned with ATM security and assurance standards. MosaiX is cloud-ready, supports containerised deployments, and offers open data exchange interfaces e.g. SWIM, enabling seamless integration with third-party and legacy systems.

TowerX scales effortlessly across all operational environments, — from compact regional towers to high-capacity airports, contingency centres, and fully digital/remote tower installations. Its modular architecture allows customers to mix and match capabilities such as flight data management, routing and guidance, video augmentation, safety nets, and advanced surveillance. Operators can start small and expand later without losing earlier investments.
