Airspace World 2025
Keeping millions of passengers safe. Every day.
Frequentis showcased the future of air traffic management at Airspace World 2025. The diverse programme brought innovation to life, featuring expert-led presentations at the Frequentis Theatre and engaging discussions on key industry challenges. Attendees connected, exchanged ideas, and explored the technologies shaping tomorrow’s skies.
At the Frequentis stand, the event was officially kicked off with the opening of the High-Capacity Digital Tower alongside Deutsche Flugsicherung (DFS) – a milestone that celebrated over a decade of trusted collaboration. This proud moment was presented by Frequentis CEO Norbert Haslacher, DFS CEO Arndt Schoenemann, and Wolfgang Bretl, Director of Operations at DFS Munich.
During the event we demonstrated how we shape Trajectory-Based Operations, from collaborative flight planning to synchronised traffic management. Visitors witnessed the market-unique High-Capacity Digital Tower and experienced hands-on demonstrations of Unified Aeronautical Communications, integrating voice and ATM solutions. Our MosaiX experts showcased the transformation to cloud-based operations, inspiring attendees with ATM-Grade Network operations across large-scale airspaces.
Adding to the event’s highlights, Frequentis was honoured to receive a CANSO ATM Award with Oro Navigacija for “Innovation to Enable Sustainable Future Skies". The award recognised their joint work on Lithuania’s cloud-based UTM system – a solution that enables the safe integration of drones into low-level airspace, supports crewed aviation, and aligns with EU regulations. By enabling real-time data sharing and situational awareness, the system plays a vital role in managing the growing volume of drone traffic.
We look forward to building on this year’s success and continuing the momentum at Airspace World 2026, taking place from 26–28 May.
