Honduras addresses air traffic growth with FREQUENTIS advanced surveillance solution

Advanced surveillance solution for Honduras
  • The Government of Honduras, through the Spanish Cooperation, presents the Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B) solution, Quadrant, by Frequentis Comsoft
  • This is to handle the upcoming growth in air traffic and runway capacity at Palmerola International Airport in Comayagua

The Central America Flight Information Region (FIR) covers over 2.6 million square kilometers and is one of the largest in the Central America and Caribbean (CAR) region. COCESNA is an organisation in charge of providing air navigation services for its member states in Central America (Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua).
