Frequentis @ Airspace World 2026

Airspace World 2026

Keeping millions of passengers safe. Every day.

Frequentis returns to Airspace World 2026 to showcase how integrated technologies are shaping the future of air traffic management. As aviation becomes more digital, connected, and complex, the real value lies in how systems work together. At our stand, visitors will discover how Frequentis connects communication, automation, information, and surveillance into a seamless operational ecosystem supporting safe and efficient civil airspace operations.

From Unified Aeronautical Communications and Integrated Tower Solutions to Trajectory-Based Operations, ATM-grade networks, and Accelerated Drone Management, Frequentis demonstrates how interoperable, service-oriented architectures enable the next generation of airspace operations. Frequentis Defence also joins Airspace World for the first time, highlighting how many of these capabilities support coordinated civil-military operations and airspace protection, with dedicated defence solutions and demonstrations showcased at the stand.

Visit us at Airspace World to explore real operational use cases and meet the experts shaping the future of aviation.

Frequentis supports all phases of Trajectory-Based Operations (TBO), with FF-ICE R1 as the operational foundation and a clear evolution toward FF-ICE R2. Our data-centric approach builds on digitised Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) and trajectory data services delivered via SWIM, enabling early trajectory sharing, improved predictability, and collaborative decision-making across ATM stakeholders.

At Airspace World, we demonstrate how these capabilities translate into real operational progress. With the first FF-ICE R1 implementations expected from 2026, Frequentis is already helping transform emerging standards into operational reality, supporting the transition toward full trajectory-based air traffic management and more predictable, efficient flight operations.

Frequentis presents the next evolution of Integrated Tower Solutions, where digital towers and A-SMGCS operate together within a unified operational environment. At Airspace World, we demonstrate how deep integration and automation reduce controller workload while enhancing safety and situational awareness.

Visitors will experience the integration of the Integrated Controller Working Position (iCWP) with operational systems such as DMAN, alongside demonstrations of cooperative and non-cooperative drone integration within tower operations. Our Ultra-HD TowerX vision system delivers exceptional visual clarity and situational awareness. Operational insights from deployments, including validation results from Munich and SDA certification in the United States, show how scalable digital tower capabilities support airports of all sizes.

Frequentis brings decades of experience designing and operating ATM-grade communication networks worldwide. Beyond infrastructure, we increasingly deliver managed communication services that ensure the availability, performance, and cybersecurity required for safety-critical aviation operations.

At Airspace World, we demonstrate how resilient networks form the backbone of the future aviation communication infrastructure. Frequentis contributes to key initiatives including SESAR, LDACS, and Future Communication Infrastructure (FCI), helping build a multilink communication environment for the digital aviation ecosystem. Through operational networks such as CANSNET, Frequentis supports ANSPs in operating mission-critical communication infrastructure, enabling secure and reliable connectivity across increasingly complex and data-driven airspace operations.

Frequentis presents the Service Delivery Model as a practical path for transforming ATM systems from monolithic platforms into modular, interoperable services. The architecture enables faster innovation, flexible integration, and secure modernisation aligned with regulatory and safety requirements.

At Airspace World, together with DFS, we demonstrate the world’s first implementation of this concept. The integration of Frequentis FDPS PRISMA with the DFS Phoenix-NG HMI, displayed alongside the PRISMA GUI, illustrates how ATM services and HMIs from different providers can operate together within a service-based architecture. The approach is further supported by the SESAR NATICA project, highlighting industry momentum toward open, interoperable ATM service environments.

Frequentis presents the next evolution of Unified Aeronautical Communications, demonstrating seamless integration of voice and automation within the OneATM vision. At Airspace World, visitors can experience how AI-based speech recognition connects voice communication directly with ATM automation.

The concept is enabled by GuardX recording, supporting continuous AI training through integrated feedback loops that improve recognition performance. Built on a modular architecture powered by MosaiX, the solution combines the X10 voice communication system, GuardX, and the ODS Open Platform. Together, these technologies demonstrate how service-oriented architectures support flexible deployment across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.

Frequentis presents Integrated Lower Airspace Solutions designed to support the safe and scalable integration of drones into controlled and uncontrolled airspace. The Frequentis UTM Suite enables coordination between ANSPs, authorities, and drone operators across the full operational workflow, including flight permissions, compliance checks, geo-awareness, real-time monitoring, and emergency management.

At Airspace World, we demonstrate how UTM information integrates directly into tower environments to support shared airspace operations. Visitors will see UAV mission zones, emergency alerts, and real-time drone tracking displayed at the controller working position. This integration enhances situational awareness and enables controllers to safely manage mixed operations between conventional aviation and drones.
