Executive Board

As members of the executive board, Dr. Hannes Bardach (CEO), Dr. Christian Pegritz, his successor Rolf Unterberger, Sylvia Bardach and Hermann Mattanovich lead the continued growth of Frequentis.

Hannes Bardach joined Frequentis as Managing Director in 1983, and went on to become the company's major shareholder. His leadership turned Frequentis into a successful global business, not least through his drive for technological innovation. Bardach focuses on strategic issues and business development.

When Christian Pegritz began at Frequentis in 1990, he found a local oriented company predominately active in German-speaking countries. Now the company group has local staff or representatives in over 50 countries. Pegritz's chief responsibility is for the company's marketing and sales. He is currently handing over his responsibilities to his successor, Rolf Unterberger, and will retire end of June 2012. Dr. Pegritz will continue to support the company as advisor.

On February 2012, Rolf Unterberger was appointed to the Frequentis AG executive board. He assumed responsibility for sales and marketing, thus succeeding Dr Christian Pegritz. Given his area of responsibility, Unterberger's clear goal will be to further expand the company's international business. This will secure an even stronger global presence and accelerate the growth potential of the Frequentis Group.

Sylvia Bardach took over the finance and controlling department at Frequentis in 1989, playing an intimate role in the dynamic growth of the company. Responsible for finances and controlling since 2000, Bardach lays the solid fiscal and legal foundations that support the further growth and continued profitability of the Frequentis group.

Hermann Mattanovich became the fourth member of the Frequentis executive board in January 2009. He is responsible for technology issues, with a remit to further reinforce the core strengths that characterice this international hi tech company: technical prowess and innovation.

In September 2002 the company decided to set up a Supervisory Board. Hon.Prof. Dkfm. Dr. Rainer Hasenauer, DDr. Michael Millauer and Dipl.Ing. Dr. Boris Nemsic act as Frequentis' Supervisory Board Members under the chairmanship of DDr. Georg Bahn, attorney at law. The present representatives appointed by the works council are Dipl.Ing. Gabriele Schedl and Ing. Reinhard Steidl.
