When Frequentis’ headquarters were built between 2004 and 2006, energy-saving CFL (compact fluorescent lamps) were the state-of-the- art. Although this technology was much more efficient than the previous incandescent lamps, in 2023, it was decided to switch to the latest LED (light emitting diode) technology in order to maximise energy efficiency and sustainability. 

The switch will cut the energy used for lighting at Frequentis’ headquarters in Vienna by about 60%.  The new lights offer further advantages beyond the energy savings: a fresh, contemporary atmosphere in the company building and a long service life.
