Rolf Unterberger to succeed Christian Pegritz as the Frequentis AG executive board member with responsibility for sales and marketing

01/23/2012
As of 1 February 2012, Rolf Unterberger (45) will join the Frequentis AG executive board as the successor to Christian Pegritz, taking responsibility for sales and marketing.

Frequentis exports 90% of its products and services, which underlines the key importance of the executive board’s sales and marketing role in further expanding the corporate group. Commenting on his new colleague, Frequentis CEO Hannes Bardach said, “The Frequentis executive board will benefit enormously from Rolf Unterberger’s vast sales experience and track record of success in international markets, particularly in our focus region Asia.”

Mr Unterberger expects to draw on both his operational and consultancy experience in his new management position: “I’ve long associated the name Frequentis with innovation and a strong market presence. My predecessor – Mr Christian Pegritz – has brought an extraordinary era of sales success to the company. I look forward to building on this foundation and further extending the Frequentis footprint in international markets.”

Mr Pegritz will stay on the board until the end of June 2012, and the intermediate transition phase will ensure continuity in both the direction of the company and its market activities. He will also remain in an advisory role once this transition is complete. The other executive board positions remain unchanged.
