The FREQUENTIS Approach
Safety Counts ... Because Every Single Persons Counts
Safety management is not just the business of a handful safety specialists. Safety consciousness and safety awareness has got to be lived by all employees; special training programmes keep our personnel up-to-date. System safety management is part of our culture and is present in all departments. This enables Frequentis to develop products that meet the highest safety requirements.
Excerpt of methods
Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA)
System Safety Assessment (SSA)
Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
RBD – Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD)
A comprehensive safety programme concludes with the generation of an Equipment Safety Case, which contains all arguments concerning system safety. This document is a major prerequisite for the approval of Frequentis systems at various national regulatory bodies.
We provide our customers mainly with COTS-products, nevertheless an ongoing and inherent enhancement process of the systems is one of our strengths. Through the collection of field data for every system in operation we get a broad data basis for this enhancement process, which assures a mature and increasingly safe design. This fact puts Frequentis in the position to set new standards in the field of System Safety.
