The size of the target group to be trained could justify the use of CBI (computer based instruction) solution. Frequentis favours the “blended learning” approach which uses CBI to give trainees theoretical knowledge and to prepare them in advance for their hands-on training in the classroom and on the “live” system.

Frequentis already invests in the development of CBI and has a range of modules that relate to some of our standard off-the-shelf products. They are intended as a means of preparing in advance for the Operator and Maintainer Training and, in total, cover theoretical content equivalent to approximately 20 % of the related classroom courses.

A typical CBI module, like the ones in the list below, will have an on-line learning duration of ½ hour. Access to CBI modules is regulated, limited to customer nominated trainees and is subject to a fee.

These CBI modules have been developed as PC application software and are exclusively accessible via regulated access to our Web-Based-Training Portal.
