 | Fail-safe Voice Communications for the Vienna Fire Brigade February 2005: In co-operation with our partner and prime contractor Center Systems, Frequentis, a Viennese company specialised in safety-critical communications, outfitted the emergency call centre of the Vienna Fire Brigade with a Voice Communication System that handles both, emergency calls, and the everyday communications within the dispatch centre: the tried and tested VCS 3020MCC. A voice recording system is an integral part of this system and enables a quick play back of emergency calls at the dispatch centre, as well as the archiving of calls. Integraler Bestandteil des Systems ist ein Sprach-Recordingsystem für die schnelle Wiedergabe der Notrufe in der Zentrale sowie die Gesprächsarchivierung.  | Lothian and Borders Police Force Communications Centre goes live with FREQUENTIS Technology April 2004: On 8th February the first 999 was received at the new Force Communications Centre (FCC)
located at Bilston, Midlothian (on the outskirts of Edinburgh). As prime contractor Frequentis was
responsible for the provision of communications centre technology to support non-emergency
call handling, '999' emergency call handling, the 24 hour advice and assistance desk and the coordination
of operational activity. Those technologies include integrated radio operation

 | UK Fire Brigades decide for FREQUENTIS February 2004: In December 2003, both the Essex and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Services decided for an
Integrated Communications and Control System (ICCS) by Frequentis. By June 2004, they will be
delivered with a VCS 3020MCC that will meet the technical requirements specified by both Fire
Brigades. They rely on proven Frequentis technology – the VCS 3020MCC is already operating in
