Frequentis 3025 VT3 Voice Communication Switch in its Air Traffic Control Tower. The
system was installed and commissioned in just a week. It went live at the end of September
2002. The 3025 VT3 provided utilises 5 positions using the very latest Frequentis

 | ATIS system with audio-response unit: German ATC authority (DFS) orders five systems October 2002: At the beginning of September 2002, Frequentis received a contract from the German Air Traffic
Service Provider (Deutsche Flugsicherung, DFS) for five ATIS systems. ATIS stands for
"Automatic Terminal Information Service"; a system such as those used in every large control
tower. It continually sends non-ATC specific information which is generated with the help of
