Success for FREQUENTIS in Bahrain
November 2007: ACC is equipped with Austrian Voice Communication System in Record Time
In May 2005 the Bahrain Air Traffic Control Tower was commissioned and declared operational. The heart of the communications system of this ATC tower is the VCS 3020X manufactured by the hightech company Frequentis, headquartered in Vienna, Austria. The system was configured with four operator positions - the VCS 3020X’s design can accommodate over 100 positions.

First Brazilian contract for the Caribbean and Latin American (CALA) region of FREQUENTIS
November 2007: An important contract was signed between the Brazilian Ministry of Defense, Aeronautical Command (CISCEA) and Frequentis. Now Brazil, the South American giant, joins the list of Frequentis world wide customers who rely in the state-of-the-art technology.

Port Said and Abu Simbel Airports to Receive FREQUENTIS Voice Communication Systems
September 2007: Frequentis has received a contract from ORASCOM Trading – Giza, Egypt. As part of a complete tower renovation being supplied to the National Air Navigation Services Company (NANSC) by ORASCOM, Frequentis will supply the Voice Communication Systems (VCS) for the Air Traffic Control towers at Port Said and Abu Simbel, Egypt.

FREQUENTIS solidifies its presence in the Caribbean and Latin American region with five Divos recording systems for Peru
August 2007: With Divos recording systems for the Airports of Tingo Maria, Anta-Huaraz, Atalaya, Yurimaguas, Chachapoyas, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Talara, Huanuco and Andahuaylas Frequentis obtains its second win in the country of Peru after the successful signing of a Voice Communication System for the ATC Tower in Cuzco in 2002.

FAA receives In-Service Decision (ISD) for the Interim Voice Switch Replacement Program (IVSR) of FREQUENTIS USA
May 2007: Upon successful completion of the Independent Operational Test and Evaluation process (IOT&E) the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has declared an In-Service Decision (ISD) to deploy the Frequentis voice switching system VCS3020X IVSR under the Interim Voice Switch Replacement (IVSR) program.

February 2007: Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH gives Frequentis the job of expanding the radio nodes for Stuttgart approach
The Frequentis VCX radio node has been in use for about a year for approach control at Rhein-Main Airport. It ensures reliable radio communications connections.
