Latin America Success
In 2007 Frequentis succeeded at the Brazilian market with two contracts: Congonhas Tower and Salvador Deployable Tower. This marks a significant milestone for Frequentis as it now opens the doors to many other opportunities for the largest country in the CALA region.
Congonhas Tower Modernisation
In October 2007 an important contract was signed between the Brazilian Ministry of Defense, Aeronautical Command (CISCEA) and Frequentis. Frequentis was contracted for the Congonhas Tower Modernisation project in Sao Paulo. Frequentis now plays an integral role in Air Traffic Control Tower for Brazil's busiest airport.
Frequentis long reputation for providing integrated solutions was the significant factor in which CISCEA relied in order to make its final decision. The scope of work includes a complete modernisation of the Tower for the Congonhas airport along with a deployable Tower and TAPtools® (Tower and Airport Tools) Systems.
CISCEA's commitment to safety was, from the very beginning, Frequentis focus point for this entire project and the great working partnership with CISCEA was vital in order to make sure that all expectations were exceeded. CISCEA also made a thorough analysis of the offered systems and our technical know-how, which only served to further reassure that Frequentis was also the best value without ever compromising safety.
