Public Safety Newsletter "Snapshot"
Emergency organisations are on duty around the clock, charged with the responsibility of managing emergency calls and operational missions both quickly and effectively. Frequentis solutions support the dispatchers in fulfilling this heavy responsibility.
Expertise and References
We offer expertise based on long experience with projects all over the globe. In Germany, for example, we provided control centres for fire services in Berlin and Hamburg. Most recently we supplied a cooperative control centre to Bremen, with a joint system platform for the city’s police and fire services.
In 2005 we won a particularly prestigious order, providing an integrated communications platform to London’s Metropolitan Police Service. It features over 500 working positions at three major communication control centres. The end of 2006 brought a similar order from Norway, where we are reequipping over 350 dispatch centres. In 2007, we were awarded via Prime EADS a contract for the delivery of England's National Fire Services communications project, FiReControl. Our customers also benefit from our extensive experience integrating TETRA into control centres, thus allowing the parallel use of existing analogue systems and new digital solutions (“unified communications”), and supporting the migration from analogue to digital radio.
Intelligent Integration
ICCS, C&C, CCTV, GIS, mobile platforms and other IT systems provide a great deal of additional functionality to the control centre operator. Frequentis technology allows the intelligent integration of all these separate systems, supporting information exchange and workflow optimization.
Our comprehensive understanding of customer processes, early use of new control centre technology and the technical prowess of our product platforms give us a basis for developing yet more innovative control centre solutions in the future. It’s our responsibility to implement these future developments as practical solutions that leave our customers more than satisfied.
