FREQUENTIS regional champion Vienna
In September 2009, "Club Alpha", a representative body for women and families in Vienna, hosted its 17th annual competition in support of their initiative "Deeds - not Words". The competition aims at inciting companies to implement innovative women and family-friendly measures that facilitate employees' efforts to reconcile career and family life.
69 companies took part in this competition. In two assessment rounds, a jury of seven examined the women and family-friendliness of the participating companies. In the category “large firm” Frequentis took first place, beating HP and Young & Rubicam, and was chosen Regional Champion Vienna. For Frequentis this is the second award in the initiative “Deeds – not words”.
Sylvia Bardach, responsible manager for HR in the executive board of Frequentis commented: "We are happy about having won. This is an impressive confirmation of our efforts to act women and family-friendly." Company supported childcare programmes and flexible work schedules are some of the aspects that make Frequentis such a positive work environment for employees with families.
