| IGNIS Berlin Together with the Fire Brigade Berlin, a system had been developed that combines advanced technologies and long time experience in a safety critical environment. The system consists of two main communication centres, each of them equipped with its own VCS 3020LZ, linked together via a digital network.

| IGNIS Berlin (deutsch) Gemeinsam mit der Berliner Feuerwehr wird ein neues richtungsweisendes Kommunikationssystem entwickelt. Dieses System besteht aus zwei Einsatzleitstellen (Hauptleitstelle und Ausweichleitstelle), die jeweils ein eigenes VCS 3020 LZ besitzen, die über ein digitales Netz miteinander verbunden sind. Das System der Berliner Feuerwehr bietet eine arbeitsplatzbezogene Verbindung zum Einsatzleitrechnersystem. Durch diese Koppelung wird die Sprachvermittlung zum integralen Bestandteil des gesamten Einsatzleitsystems.
