Frequentis supports and promotes the academical company founding services inits. In addition, Frequentis provides potential start-up companies with rooms, infrastructure and specific advice in their center at the Phorusgasse, Vienna, in order to give them a starting point for their leap into self-employment.

The transfer direct from university environment to self-employment can be a foundation for a solid career: this is proven by the example set by the managing director and owner of Frequentis: Hannes Bardach worked during and after his studies for some years as an assistant and in parallel built up a career as a consultant which led directly to becoming an independent entrepreneur.

The contacts arising from the framework of this business founding service are being used to specifically approach young engineers working in Frequentis-related areas. They find a new home in the Phorusgasse for their leap into self-employment - and some of them have already done so (e.g. Oregano Systems - Design & Consulting).
