The first year
– starting life as a Frequentis employee
We all spend about a third of our day at work. That’s a lot of time. We believe we should make good use of that time, especially when the aim is to make it as easy as possible for new employees to find their feet at Frequentis. That’s why we have an integration programme designed to support new colleagues during their first year with the company.
When you get started, you’ll be supervised by a tutor. He or she will be someone from your part of the company and will offer advice on work, organisational or personal issues. Whatever questions or problems you may have, you can rest assured that your tutor is there to support you.
As soon as you start, you and other colleagues new to the company will participate in dedicated events designed to let you learn more about those aspects of Frequentis you won’t come across in your immediate working environment. Your first day begins with a workshop that gives you an overview of our products, processes, organisation and intranet (the most important information platform in the company). A couple of weeks later you’ll have the opportunity to expand on those first impressions. You’ll discover more about the company’s history, see where we’re headed in the future, and learn about our mission and goals. Among other things, you’ll learn how our quality management works and how cost accounting helps secure the company’s economic future. Throughout all of this you’ll meet and get to know senior staff in various corporate areas, including the members of the executive board.
After about a year, the integration programme finishes with a personal interview. We need your feedback because we want to know where we can improve and we need to be sure that the integration programme actually does make the your first year at Frequentis an easier one. Your opinion really does count.
