Integrated logistic support (ILS) is the efficient and unified management of the technical logistics disciplines that plan and develop support for military forces as well as for public institutions. Generally speaking, ILS is the management organisation that plans and directs the activities of many technical disciplines associated with the identification and development of logistics support requirements for all products of the Group.
Thus, the Frequentis ILS organisation is an integral part of the engineering efforts to design a system with the aim to implement logistics support considerations in the system design, to identify and develop support requirements and to provide the required support at minimum costs. Frequentis follows the guidance of international ILS standards, such as DOD STD 00-60 and MIL-STD 1388, to ensure that the resulting system design and logistics support package will offer the best possible balance between system performance, supportability and life-cycle costs.
