PROTECT™ NG CALL TAKER

Designed specifically for the Next Generation emergency operation following the NENA i3 blueprint for NG9-1-1, this module can serve in standalone mode or with the other PROTECT™ modules in a turnkey, end-to-end fashion, serving as a building block which truly is plug-and-play. The PROTECT™ NG Call Taker Incident Management module provides the ability to share information easily over a secured Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) that is open standard, highly robust, and dependable and uniquely distributed.

Frequentis PROTECT™ provides an innovative way of handling calls. The single screen layout (configuration of the product line for call-taking only) provides all necessary functions to take and process calls. PROTECT™ NG Call Taker enables the call taker to manage voice, video and other data (e.g. SMS, web sources or other external alarms) from assorted communication devices directly from the PROTECT™ user interface. The map centric approach offers the most intuitive and future proof call taker position.

Providing a standard interface to Emergency Call Routing Function (ECRF) and Emergency Services IP Networks (ESInets), the myriad of other i3 services such as Emergency Services Routing Proxy (ESRP) and Policy Routing Function (PRF) are inherent in the PROTECT™ NG Call Taker architecture. This software application affords the ability to plug-and-play as needed, or rollout a complete bundled solution to either interface with or create an i3 NG9-1-1 operation.
