Frequentis looks back on more than 60 years of company history. In the field of communication systems in air traffic control we are world market leader. In the field of command and control centres Frequentis is internationally successful for more than 30 years. The most important reference projects are:
Norwegian Fire-, Health- and Police Agencies End of 2006, the Norwegian Authorities signed a contract for the delivery of the new country-wide data- and communications network based on TETRA technology exclusively with Siemens AS, Norway. At the same time Frequentis signed a sub-contract with Siemens for supplying all the Control Rooms within this project. The roll-out started in 2007 with the first Control Rooms in the Oslo area and will run for a couple of years until the last installations up in Svalbard (also known as Spitzbergen).
Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) Integrated communications technology and processes have moved one step closer for the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) following the signing of a contract with Vienna-based communications and information systems company Frequentis.
The nine-year development, delivery and service contract will deliver an integrated command and communications platform to the MPS, on which to operate it legacy radio despatch system, MetRadio, CCTV monitoring operations and the new Airwave digital radio network.
Fire Brigade Vienna State-of-the-art information centre for emergency call enquiries, radio and alarms, voice recording system, and intelligent control of building systems via the voice communication system.
Olympic Games Security 2004 Command and control centre for the "Olympic Games Security Committee". The headquarters will provide connections for 30 work places to emergency telephone connections and analogue radio systems as well as to the TETRA infrastructure provided by Motorola.
German Federal Border Guard The requirements of the Federal Border Guard authorities for the equipment of their offices with new Command & Control Centres are strict. Utter reliability, simple PC-base operation and direct radio to telephone connection were basic requirements associated with the project. Now a basic contract has been signed with the German Ministry of the Interior for the delivery of up to 24 additional voice communication systems for the Federal Border Guard.
Canton Police Zurich Equipped with two fully integrated command and control centre systems based on a Frequentis Voice Communication System, Integration of analogue and digital radio.
Lothian & Borders Police The second largest police force in Scotland. Frequentis serves as the prime contractor for two locations with a total of 135 work places. Complete voice communication system; call centre solution for "non-emergency calls", data-warehousing solution, connection of the communications centre to the nation-wide TETRA network O2 Airwave.
Emergency Network Philippines (ENP) Nation-wide emergency call command and control centre network consisting of 16 emergency call centres, implementation of a standardised "General Emergency Number" 117, with Frequentis as the comprehensive prime contractor.
Fire Brigade Berlin Equipped the command and control centre (central command and control centre and back-up command and control centre), with state-of-the-art high-availability communication technology. Frequentis serves as the prime contractor for all communication technology facilities. Provided the high availability, digital communication system and voice recording system for the mobile command and control unit (ELW 3).
Police Department Hamburg Together with the Hamburg Police Department Frequentis developed a mission control center for digital emergency call handling for the specific requirements of the police. The goal of this cooperation was to guarantee the uninterrupted operation of the police department's tasks during the move from its old location to a new location and furthermore to create a new quality in the police mission control handling.
Integrated Dispatch Centre Hamburg In Hamburg Frequentis implemented the first integrated mission control centre in Germany. Since 2007 police, fire brigade and ambulance services use the same infrastructure and the same communication- and dispatch centre technology. There are many advantages by sharing resources, in particular life cycle costs could be reduced dramatically. In spite of so much joint possession the organizations can keep their operational independency completely. In a second phase Frequentis was also ordered to implement the new defined TETRA integration.
ELIS St. Gallen The government and city council decided to refurbish two dispatch center systems in St. Gallen: the canton's emergency call centre, responsible for police, fire brigade and ambulance service and the dispatch centre system of the city police. Frequentis is in charge of a solution, that brings about a technological fusion of both centres with a shared organisation and significant cost savings in procurement and operation.
Fire Control, UK Within the project Fire Control, nine regional dispatch centres for fire brigades and ambulance services in England will be integrated. Each dispatch centre will use state-of-the-art technology, including the integration of the new digital radio system TETRA. Frequentis is in charge of the entire integrated voice communication system.
INEZ STAPO, INEZ SRZ, Zurich On behalf of the police department of Zurich (PD) Frequentis implements new dispatch centres in the city. The existing dispatching centres will be harmonized with newest control centre technology inclusive digital radio access. Concerned are the dispatch centre of the citypolice Zurich (STAPO) and the defense and rescue service Zurich (SRZ), which comprises firebrigade, rescue, civil defense and fire police.
